Leadership Evolution

•A 6-month performance development programme for senior managers with full 

 responsibility for their department or business unit

•Developed for those who face significant organisational challenges, are undergoing

 substantial change, or who recognise the potential to achieve more

•The programme focuses on developing the behaviours needed to take performance

  to the next level

Methodology

Leadership Evolution is composed of a number of development methods including leadership profiling, workshops and one-to-one coaching to ensure that learning leads to action and action leads to improvements in ability.

Leadership Evolution

Programme

Leadership Evolution is a 6 month performance development programme for senior managers with full responsibility for their department or business unit. Developed for those who face significant organisational challenges, are undergoing substantial change, or recognise the potential to achieve more, the programme focuses on developing the behaviours needed to take performance to the next level.

Methodology

Leadership Evolution is composed of a number of development methods to ensure that learning leads to action and action leads to improvements in ability. The focus is place around critical leadership competencies of Communicating Strategy, Developing People, Managing Change and Leadership Behaviours and includes 360 degree profiling and feedback.

360 degree Leadership profiling

1 to 1 coaching, once per month over 6 months, to:

  • generate greater self-awareness and understanding
  • review current effectiveness, strengths and development areas
  • decide learning requirements
  • develop personal objectives
  • formulate action plan
  • motivate action to achieve significant performance improvements
  • embed learning from workshops
  • provide support, guidance and motivation throughout the programme

4 leadership workshops – 1 day every 4 weeks, participants will:

  • understand critical leadership theory in a practical, applied way
  • think more laterally and find practical solutions
  • communicate their vision with clarity, effectiveness and energy
  • identify and develop their key people
  • understand and manage change
  • improve collaboration and shared learning
  • use new knowledge, techniques and methods in their leadership role
  • recognise their behaviours and those of others and work more effectively in using individuality to its best effect

Leadership Evolution provides the support, motivation and inspiration to make behavioural changes in order to become a more effective leader. It challenges the current style of leadership, evokes the actions necessary to make step changes and gives the support needed to move a capable leader to an extraordinary leader. Participants are more able to:

  • address key behavioural traits that will make improvements in performance and leadership
  • understand what impact they have on others
  • manage and lead themselves and others to a higher performance
  • maximise the skills and resources they have at their disposal
